Why Book a Trekking, Hiking, Walking and Climbing Holiday with us
We want you to experience what our incredible region has to offer. The Cordillera Blanca – Huascaran National Park and Cordillera Huayhuash Trail multiday treks can be hiked independently or with Huaraz Treks and Climbs. Not everyone is equipped to organise the logistics of a full trek or climb, carry their own gear and be prepared for every eventuality in these remote areas. With Huaraz Treks and Climbs, you can still have the hiking adventure – we just take care of the rest.
While your safety is paramount, our guides are also there to provide comfort and knowledge. From supplying bed tea in the morning to an afternoon briefing, they are with you all the way.
Hiking and Climbing through some remote landscapes in Cordillera Blanca or Cordillera Huayhuash, rest assured that your safety and wellbeing is our first priority.
We will organise all of your transport, camping and meals. We can even lend you a duffel bag.
We provide full support so all you have to carry is a daypack with whatever you require for that day’s walk. Our staff will also erect and take down the tents, cook, wash up and even supply bed tea in the morning. This allows you plenty of free time to relax or explore your surroundings as you wish.
At camps, our meals are prepared and served to us in a dining tent. Our cook will prepare a variety of local and international dishes – (delicious 3 course meals). All dietary requirements can be catered for.
Pack Animals on Treks
Donkeys carry your main luggage and all the food, tents and equipment. You only carry a day pack with raincoat, warm jacket, hat and gloves, water bottle, snack, camera, sunscreen etc.
We are here to help make your holiday a hassle-free escape. We have a selection of accommodation and day activities listed on the website and we are more than happy to suggest further alternatives. It is no problem for us to book your accommodation, bus ticktes and domestic flight tickets.
Rodolfo and Huaraz Treks met and exceeded our expectations in all respects. His lifelong knowledge of the Cordillera Blanca enriched our trip beyond the trek itself, including identification of birds, animals, mountains, and the local villages. He also was helpful in suggesting other activities for our time in the Huaraz area. Bright, personable, excellent English, quick judge of our abilities and interests.
