Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to La curva de Chopicallqui and walk up to the base camp 4250m/13943ft. 3 hours drive and 30 minutes walk.

Day 2: Ascend to the Moraine Camp 4850m/15912ft. 4 – 5 hours walk.

Day 3: Climb up to the high camp 5300m/17388ft. 3 hours climb

Day 4: Summit attempt and back to moraine camp. 12 hours climb for the day.

Day 5: Walk out to the road and return to Huaraz.

Technical Difficulty & Fitness
2. Short, steep sections of snow or ice up to about 60°. Previous snow and ice climbing experience is essential.
B. High level of fitness coupled with physical toughness and the ability to carry a heavy backpack.
