Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz – Cashapampa – Llamacorral

Day 2: Llamacorral – Taullipampa

Day 3: Taullipampa – Punta Union Pass – Paria

Day 4: Paria – Colcabamba – Molinopampa

Day 5: Molinopampa – Avalancha

Day 6: Avalancha – Paso Yanayacu Pass – Ulta Valley – Huaraz

Day 7: Rest day in Huaraz

Day 8: Drive to Cebollapampa 3990m and ascend to the base camp 4650m. 3 hours drive and 3 hours walk.

Day 9: Ascend to the moraine 4950m. 3 hours walk.

Day 10: Summit attempt and back to base camp. 10 to 12 hours climb for the day.

Day 11: Walk down to the road and drive back to Huaraz. 1½ hours walk and 3 hours drive.

Technical Difficulty & Fitness
1. Ropes are used principally for glacier travel and low-angle snow or ice slopes. Climbing experience is preferred, but not essential.
A. Good fitness, which for most people requires some training, by running, hiking and able to carry your personal climbing gear.
